Approach to Therapy

All Services Provided via Secure Online Platform

Therapy sessions are conducted using a secure online platform that can be accessed easily via smart phone or computer. Sessions occur in a convenient location that works best for the client.

Fees and Services

Standard Fees

Standard fees are charged at the time of service and should be paid within 48 hours of invoice

Initial 60 Min Assessment

$160

Initial Assessment consists of initial evaluation for counseling services

45-Minute Individual Counseling Session

$135

60-Minute Individual Counseling Session

Ancillary Services (per 15 minutes)

$40

Ancillary services include letter writing, report writing, file review and clinical consultation with external providers. 

Bicoastal Counseling & Coaching, LLC reserves the right to change fees at any time.

Sliding Fee Scale

At Bicoastal Counseling & Coaching, LLC, we strive to provide affordable, high quality mental health services. One way to ensure affordable services is by offering a sliding fee scale program. 


Rates are based on combined family income. If you believe you qualify for a discounted rate, please request an application prior to beginning services. Existing clients can apply at any time. 

Terms and Conditions

  • Qualifying clients shall provide proof of their income, unemployment, or disability payments.
  • Approval for a sliding-scale discount should be applied for by requesting an application prior to beginning services.
  • Existing clients who apply for this discount and are approved will receive the discount on future services. The discount is not retroactive.
  • This discount cannot be combined with any other offer.
  • Bicoastal Counseling & Coaching, LLC reserves the right to change the terms, or cancel this discount program, for any reason, at any time.
  • A limited number of client spaces are available with this discount. If a space is not available at the time of approval, you may be placed on the waiting list for the next available discounted space. Alternatively, you may choose to begin services at the regular cost, but if you decide to take advantage of the discount when a space opens, you may have to change providers.
  • Not all providers, in all areas, offer discounted client services.
  • If Bicoastal Counseling & Coaching, LLC  determines that a client has submitted false information to qualify for this discount, the discount will be reversed and the additional services fee will be due immediately.
  • If a third party is paying for the services of a client, an applicable discount rate will be based on the income of the person paying for the services, not the client's income.

Additional Information

Insurance

We are an out-of-network provider with all insurance providers. All clients pay fees on the day they receive services. If you have a PPO type insurance plan, many insurance providers will reimburse 50-80% of your fees depending on your coverage and if you have met your deductible. If you have health insurance that is a PPO policy with out-of-network benefits your insurance may reimburse you. Upon request, after your payment is received and your session is completed, we can provide you with a "superbill" which you can submit to your insurance company. Any reimbursement payments from your insurance company will be paid directly to you. Even though you may have out-of-network mental health or substance abuse benefits and our services are authorized we cannot guarantee you will be reimbursed by your insurance company.


Questions to ask your insurance company regarding therapy services:

  • Does my plan cover mental health services?
  • What percentage of my bill will be covered for services obtained by an out-of-network provider?
  • How many sessions does my plan cover per calendar year?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
